	O presente ensaio, marca o fim do primeiro módulo do curso de pós-graduação e subordina-se ao tema seguinte: Legado Pedagógico de Makarenko: Uma Reflexão sobre os contornos da sua Pedagogia na atualidade. A relevância deste tema, prende-se pelo facto de esse pedagogo ter tido uma experiência de sucesso no trabalho com jovens carenciados e delinquentes na Ucrânia, motivo suficiente que determinou para a sua escolha. Considera-se por isso, uma oportunidade de refletir sobre o legado pedagógico do Makarenko, analisando igualmente, os pontos de convergência e divergência com outros pedagogos do seu tempo, nomeadamente, John Dewey, Levy Vygotsky e Paulo Freire; que foram os pensadores da educação profundamente tratados no decorrer do módulo.

	O presente artigo intitulado compromisso social do professor e métodos de ensino é um tema que resultada da literatura realizada na obra ‘’Poema Pedagógica’’ de Anton Makarenko e de assistência de filme designado ‘’os Coristas’’ que realça sobre a pedagogia usada pelo professor Clément Mathieus num colégio. Foi possível escolhermos este tema em viturde de reconhecermos o papel social dos professores e das grandes contribuições pedagógicas das suas obras na educação e na transformação dos alunos delinqüentes e indisciplinados; que havia perdidos a sua esperança na vida, cujo na sua maioria órfã, que não sabiam ler e escrever.
