Week 5 task 1
Title: Small Subjects 1
Barefoot nursing is a profession on its own right but does not necessarily require formal education in nursing. Anyone can be a barefoot nurse in the community as long as one has passion for the people the will to learn about health matters. Barefoot nursing is a necessity in areas where there is no doctor or where health facilities are beyond reach. The people who are now barefoot nurses did not go through formal training to become barefoot nurses. They learnt by watching others doing it, reading or studying on their own. |
