I choose this theme since I believe that education of the current population and the next generation must be a part of the solutions of the existential challenges such as growing global social and economic inequality, threats and destruction from insane war fares, resource depletion, environment degradation and unmanageable threats from Climate Change and Global Warming. I will argue that educational activism now is needed more than ever and dig into the why’s and how’s of which characteristics the pedagogy of the 21st century needs to bring solutions to our global problems. |
